Customs Procedure for Moving Household Goods in to Armenia
Shipper must be present in Armenia at the time of importation, and have appropriate work visa. Household goods must have been used and show signs of use.
Documents Required

 

Restricted Imports:

- Means of transportation conveyed through the Republic of Armenia customs borders by physical persons are subject to declaration. Transportation means both imported into and exported from the Republic of Armenia
(CC-10 and CC-11 forms may be required for this process.)

Transportation means designed for personal use imported into the Republic of Armenia customs territory undergo customs processing in the customs points through which the given transportation means is imported into the customs territory of the republic.


- Weapons: Import of military arms and parts thereof, as well as items of EEA CC 8710 (Motorized tanks and other armored fighting vehicles and parts thereof) and 9306 (Bombs, grenades, etc; cartridges and other ammunition and parts thereof) (with exception of items under 9306 29 100 commodity code)

- Narcotics or Medicines are subject to control of Armenian Government.

- Import of wild vegetations into the Republic of Armenia territory is implemented on the basis of permission issued by the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Environment.

- Import of wild animals into the Republic of Armenia territory is implemented on the basis of permission issued by the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Environment.

 

Prohibited Items
Firearms, Pornographic materials and Drugs and narcotics, Weapons and ammunition, narcotics, pornography, fruit and vegetables (without proper documents).
- (For foreign citizens upon arrival)goods that are accompanying luggage where the total weight of which does not exceed 50 kg., and the total customs value is not over than 500 US dollars.

- Goods conveyed through international transfers (parcels) the total weight of which does not exceed 20 kg, and the total customs value is not above 100 US dollars.

- Medicines imported into the RA that are designed for personal health care and treatment of the person leaving to overseas and arriving from overseas that does not exceed \"10 commodity names and 3 consumption packages per each name\", if a bigger quantity is necessary permission must be acquired by the Ministry of Health.

- Medicine and (or) medicament imported into the RA designed for use by international organizations, foreign diplomatic missions, and for personal use of their staff.

 

ALCOHOL: Beverages, spirits and vinegar 2 liters, or 1 bottle, if 1 bottle contains more than 2 liters.

 

TOBACCO: 400 cigarettes

 

Required vehicle documentation
Purchase invoice, Car title,
Certificate that auto meets technical specifications and is in good running order. Auto must have been used abroad and show signs of use. Duty approximately 30.3% of value as declared by customs.
